Light pollution is an environmental concern effecting both rural and urban night time landscapes. ‘Wasted light’ set out to capture this light emanating into the night skies, from towns, cities and industrial settings.
Shot in the dead of night mundane industrial monsters reveal themselves as spectacular nocturnal scenes. Cloudy skies trap the orange ether escaping from the urban sprawls below. We rap ourselves in a blanket of electrical glows, denying ourselves of the natural world in which we find ourselves.
